Newsletter March 2018

Cumbrian writer Geraldine Green is looking forward to a busy Spring, Summer and Autumn 2018! She’s delighted to be leading workshops and courses on the following dates:

Friday, April 6th:  10am-4pm - “Write in Nature” at Eycott Hill, Cumbria Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, near Mungrisdale, north Cumbria This workshop is free, but a small donation to Cumbria Wildlife Trust would be welcome. And thanks Jody Ferguson who invited me to run a third workshop.

April 26th, 
May 19th, delighted to welcome back Catherine Ayres for the May workshop! and June 16th Write on the Farm (see info below)
Saturday June 16th: 10.30am-4.30pm -  “Write on the Shore” This Farm workshop will take place at Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s South Walney Nature Reserve, with thanks to Sarah Dalrymple of Cumbria Wildlife Trust who suggested it.

This one day workshop is part of Geraldine’s monthly “Write on the Farm” workshops, held at a different venue.  £35 incl. refreshments, please bring your own lunch, waterproof clothing and footwear, notebook and pen, binocs. and camera.

Friday June 22nd - Sunday June 24th: “Midsummer Poetry” residential poetry course at the lovely venue of Brantwood, Coniston, Cumbria.with co-tutors Pippa Little and Geraldine Green. 

September 6th: Bolton workshop for Bank Street Writers

September 16th workshop and reading for Lapidus Scarborough

September 29th, October 20th and November 24th Write on the Farm workshops.

Please note: the September 29th Farm workshop will be held at South Walney Nature Reserve  Cumbria Wildlife Trust's wonderful reserve, Warden Sarah Dalrymple. Booking via email to Geraldine Green

Thursday, November 1st: 6.30pm-10pm  - Poetry Evening, Open Mic and Supper, Brantwood, Coniston: Looking forward to hosting this event and reading alongside fine poets Helen Mort, Graham Mort and Kerry Darbishire. Eight open mic slots available - book early!  - 4 booked, 4 to go! 
Plenty of places left for those wanting to enjoy a splendid evening of poetry and good food!
Cost of supper and open mic slot £14
Cost of attending event as a non reader is also £14
